Headaches

A headache or cephalgia is pain anywhere in the region of the head or neck.

It can be multifactorial in nature or contributed to different conditions of the head and neck. There are numerous known types of headache classifications, each with its own set of symptoms and causes which needs to be addressed accordingly. Recent evidence links some of the more common causes of headaches (cervicogenic, migraine, tension type) to dysfunction in the joints and muscles of the neck which respond well to manual therapy including Chiropractic manipulation, Active Release Technique, Functional Range Release Technique, Graston and Acupuncture.
